TBC Anniversary BiS lists cover all 27 specs from pre-raid to Sunwell Plateau

Best-in-slot lists for The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary now cover all 27 specs. There are 162 lists, from pre-raid gear to Sunwell Plateau in phase 5. Each list names the source of every item, with enchants and gems.

The phases

The pre-raid lists use gear from heroic dungeons, crafting, reputation, quests and badge vendors. Phase 1 covers Karazhan, Gruul’s Lair and Magtheridon’s Lair, with Tier 4. Phase 2 covers Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep, with Tier 5. Phase 3 adds Mount Hyjal and Black Temple with Tier 6, phase 4 Zul’Aman and phase 5 Sunwell Plateau.

The Anniversary realms had not reached phases 3 to 5 when these lists appeared. Those lists are based on the original release of 2007 and 2008, as documented by Icy Veins. For about a third of the specs, Icy Veins lists the same gear for phase 3 and phase 4. The lists note that.

Notable picks

Crafted gear carries far in phase 1. Shadow Priests and Frost Mages wear Tailoring sets such as Spellstrike and Frozen Shadoweave. Feral Druids keep the crafted Wolfshead Helm over every raid drop in phase 2. Hunters keep the Beast Lord dungeon set through phase 1.

A few lists mention Mark of the Champion from Naxxramas in Classic Era. That trinket can only be carried over from Classic and cannot be farmed, and the lists mark it that way.
