The beta of World of Warcraft: Forever is live, with queues at the log-in screen

The beta of World of Warcraft: Forever is live. It opened on 17 September, right after the live Q&A of Blizzard. There are queues at the log-in screen, writes Wowhead. How stable the servers are, is not known.

The beta runs to 21 October 2026. It starts with a level cap of 20 and raises that to 30 later, and there it stays until the launch on 4 November.

Access comes with the Skyborne Epic Pack, the Warcraft Forever Collection and the Collector’s Edition. Players who own none of those can opt in on the official page of Forever for a chance at an invite. Whether Blizzard sends out more invites while the beta runs, the studio does not say.

The live Q&A came first, at 10.00 a.m. PDT, 19.00 Belgian time. Blizzard answered questions there about Midnight and about Forever, and the beta opened afterwards.

Blizzard also announced a weekly podcast during that stream. It runs every week for the next six weeks, as long as the beta lasts, with developer Josh Greenfield and Josh Corbett from Countdown to Classic.
