Pets in WoW Forever: every companion and how to get it

World of Warcraft: Forever has 90 companion pets in its files: 32 new ones and 58 from Classic. This guide lists all of them with where they come from, and every pet has a page of its own with the item, the source and what changed.

In WoW Forever you learn a pet: the item teaches it and the pet becomes a spell, so it no longer takes a spot in your bags. Summoning is instant, with a cooldown of 1.5 seconds.

The list comes from the database of the beta. For pets marked as not known yet, the files hold the pet but the beta does not show where it comes from; those rows get updated as soon as that changes.
