A Dalaran Mage set summons an Arcane elemental

A new cloth set from the City of Dalaran calls an Arcane elemental to your side. The five pieces of Violet Sorcerer’s Vestments drop in the new dungeon on the WoW Forever beta. The full set can summon it on any damaging spell.

Players found the first pieces after the latest beta update opened the City of Dalaran. A player shared the set on Reddit.

Four bonuses

Pieces	Bonus
2	+5 Arcane Resistance
3	+10 Spirit
4	Chance on a damaging spell to keep 15% of your Mana regeneration going while casting, for 15 seconds. Doubled in Strongholds and Cities.
5	Chance on a damaging spell to summon an Arcane elemental that fights for you

The tooltip does not say how long the elemental stays. Players report about 20 seconds.

The five pieces

The set looks made for Mages, but every caster can use it. The pieces carry Intellect, and some add Spirit, Hit or Spell Power. That makes the elemental most interesting for casters without a pet of their own, such as Mages and Shadow Priests.

Piece	Item level
Violet Sorcerer’s Mantle	35
Violet Sorcerer’s Leggings	34
Violet Sorcerer’s Sandals	33
Violet Sorcerer’s Wraps	33
Violet Sorcerer’s Robes	Not known

The mantle drops from Shade of the Archmage, one of the bosses of the dungeon, with a chance of about 31% on the beta. The mantle requires level 30. Which bosses drop the other pieces, is not known yet.
