Crafted wands now sell for 1 copper

Wands made with Enchanting sell to a vendor for 1 copper in World of Warcraft: Forever. That applies to every common and uncommon wand. Before, they brought in up to 52 silver, so enchanters could craft them for profit.

The change is in the notes of the beta build of 1 October:

Enchanting

All crafted common and uncommon quality wands now sell at vendors for 1 copper.

What the wands used to be worth

The old prices come from the files of the previous build, 70124. Besides essences and dust from disenchanting, each wand needs wood from a vendor: Simple Wood for about 40 copper or Star Wood for about 45 silver, according to Wowhead.

Wand	Old price	Now	Materials
Lesser Magic Wand	5 silver 8 copper	1 copper	Simple Wood, 1 Lesser Magic Essence
Greater Magic Wand	15 silver 35 copper	1 copper	Simple Wood, 2 Lesser Magic Essence
Lesser Mystic Wand	35 silver 81 copper	1 copper	Star Wood, 1 Lesser Mystic Essence
Greater Mystic Wand	52 silver 63 copper	1 copper	Star Wood, 1 Lesser Mystic Essence, 1 Vision Dust

Whoever disenchanted the green items they found anyway, got the essences for free. Then selling wands was an easy way to make silver. That is over: the wands are now only worth using, while levelling or as gear.

The Lesser Mystic Wand already sold for less than its materials cost, writes Wowhead. For the other three, the vendor paid more than the wood.
