Dalaran rises at full scale in Shanghai

Players in China walked through Dalaran in real life. A party for World of Warcraft: Forever in Shanghai, from 16 October, rebuilt the city at full scale. Visitors did quests, won prizes and played the beta in the sewers.

The city

The party was a two-day event. Visitors walked past rebuilt landmarks such as The Silver Enclave, Sunreaver’s Sanctuary and the Antonidas Memorial in Runeweaver Square. The Dalaran Sewers became the hall where players could try the beta of Forever. The shop of Mei Francis showed mounts.

Quests for gold coins

Every visitor got a wristband to check in at checkpoints across the hall. Quests at those checkpoints paid Dalaran Gold Coins, and the coins bought a draw from a chest. The prizes included murloc hats and toys, wax seal sets, stickers and collectible statues. More merchandise was for sale.
