Early Name Reservation opens on 27 October
Early Name Reservation for World of Warcraft: Forever runs from 27 October to 3 November. Owners of an upgrade edition can claim names for up to three characters that week, before the launch on 4 November. Blizzard published the start times per region on 20 October.
| Region | Start | Belgian time |
|---|---|---|
| Europe | 27 October, 18:00 CET | 27 October, 18:00 |
| North America | 27 October, 13:00 PDT | 27 October, 21:00 |
| Korea | 28 October, 07:00 KST | 27 October, 23:00 |
| Taiwan | 28 October, 07:00 CST | 28 October, 00:00 |
Europe opens first, three hours before North America.
Three characters in total
The limit counts across all rulesets together. Two characters on a PvP ruleset leave room for one more on a Normal or Roleplaying ruleset. Blizzard adds that this restriction only applies to Early Name Reservation. Keep in mind that a PvP ruleset allows only one faction per player, so two characters there end up on the same side.
Who can reserve
Reservation comes with every upgrade edition: the Skyborne Heroic Pack, the Skyborne Epic Pack, the Warcraft Forever Collection and the Collector’s Edition. It only works on the World of Warcraft account the edition was bought for. The cheapest way in is the Skyborne Heroic Pack at 29.99 euro (all editions).
Names go to whoever is first, and Blizzard guarantees none. Every character carries a first and a second name, and it is the pair that has to be free across the whole region. A popular first name is not lost as long as the combination is still available.
