Eureka! no longer boosts damage over time

Eureka!, the racial of Gnomes in World of Warcraft: Forever, no longer works on periodic effects. Damage over time and healing over time get nothing from it since the beta build of 1 October. It is the second nerf for the racial.

The note in the build is short:

Gnome

Eureka! no longer benefits periodic effects at all. Channeled spells do not count as periodics.

Eureka! is an active racial with a 2 minute cooldown. Your next 3 damaging abilities cost 10% less and deal 10% more damage. The first nerf already lowered the discount on resources.

What it means per class

The racial has a version per resource. The data of the build holds four:

Class	Resource	What drops out
Warrior	Rage	Rend
Rogue	Energy	Garrote, Rupture
Warlock	Mana	damage over time
Priest	Mana	damage and healing over time

Every tooltip now reads “non-periodic” abilities. Channeled spells still count, so a channeled spell such as Mind Flay keeps the bonus. The notes also list a known issue: Eureka! does not affect every damaging or healing spell for some classes. That is fixed in a later build, says Blizzard.

All racials of WoW Forever are on the CLASSES page.
