Legacy Points come one per challenge, and never expire
Legacy Points are the account-wide progression in WoW Forever, and the scoring is flat: every challenge is worth one point. You earn them by levelling classes and tradeskills, running dungeons and raids, climbing PvP ranks and exploring, then spend them in three trees.
Wowhead put the list together from the beta. Blizzard has not published a full table.
Where the points come from
Levelling every class to 25, then 45, then 60 counts as three separate challenges. Every tradeskill to 150, 225 and 300 does the same. Beyond that: PvP Honor rank, Exalted with the battleground factions, clearing dungeons, clearing raids and exploring Azeroth. Each one gives one point.
Three trees, and what unlearning costs
The trees are Professions, Adventure and
Resourcefulness. Points go where you want them, and a class trainer will unlearn the lot for 10 gold, so a wrong choice is not permanent.
The Professions tree looks like this:
| Perk | Ranks | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | 4 percent more chance at a skill point from any tradeskill | |
| 5 | 20 percent more Scarce materials from Mining, Herbalism and Skinning | |
| 5 | 5 percent chance at double Merchant’s Favor from a supply crate | |
| 5 | 25 percent chance at an extra fish while using a lure | |
| 5 | 10 percent chance that a cooking recipe makes an extra item | |
| not set | Raises your lowest tradeskill by 1; at 300 everywhere it gives Elemental Essences instead |
Dedicated Study is the odd one. It has a 25-second cast and a 23-hour cooldown, and how many ranks it holds is not set.
Performance Bonus points at the two factions that are new to Forever: the Azeroth Commerce Authority and Durotar Supply and Logistics, which trade in Merchant’s Favor.
What you unlock along the way
Cosmetics arrive at 15, 25, 40 and 55 points. The one at 55 is the Reins of the
Spectral Bear.
Our Legacy calculator lays out all three trees and counts the points as you spend them.
