More Collector's Editions go on sale, shipping in February

Blizzard is putting more copies of the Collector’s Edition of World of Warcraft: Forever on sale. The English version can be ordered again from 24 September in Europe and four other regions. Copies from this batch ship in February 2027.

The new batch goes on sale in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, writes Blizzard in an update to its announcement. The exact moment differs per retailer. In Australia and New Zealand the box is sold through JB Hi-Fi and EB Games.

One per household, delivered in February

The Blizzard Gear Store in Europe sells the Collector’s Edition as a pre-order for 150 euro. There is a strict limit of one copy per household, says Blizzard.

When the box arrives depends on the day of the order, according to the Gear Store. Orders placed before 24 September ship in November 2026. Orders from 24 September on ship in February 2027. Forever itself launches on 4 November 2026, at 15.00 PST, which is 00.00 Belgian time on 5 November.

What is in the box

The contents have not changed since the announcement. The centrepiece is a statue of the Dwarf and his bear from the cinematic, 13 inches or about 33 centimetres tall.

Next to it come a mousepad of Zephras Isle, two art prints, two collectible pins and a companion journal. The prints show a landscape of red rock and a dark lair behind the skull of a dragon. One pin is a compass with the W of Warcraft, the other a pale blue cloud.

The digital code

The box also holds a code for the Warcraft Forever Collection. That is the Skyborne Epic Pack plus Warcraft III: Reforged and Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom. It unlocks the Skyborne and Zephras Isle, beta access, 30 days of Game Time and cosmetics for Forever and modern World of Warcraft. The full list per edition is on the Forever page.

The instructions for the beta code arrive by email, says Blizzard. The beta runs until 21 October. When a buyer from the February batch gets that email, Blizzard does not say.

Playing before the box arrives

A buyer who wants the digital rewards sooner can buy the Warcraft Forever Collection or another edition in the Battle.net Shop. Some of those purchases give a Battle.net Balance credit for the amount paid, once the code from the Collector’s Edition is redeemed by 31 December 2027. Not every product and upgrade path qualifies, and sometimes Customer Support has to apply the credit, according to a support article from Blizzard.

Qualifying purchases also include Invite-A-Friend launch codes. They arrive by email from 20 October and let a friend play from 4 to 11 November. Purchases made as a gift do not include them.
