No spell power mail for Paladins up to level 30

Paladins in World of Warcraft: Forever find no mail armour with spell power in quests or dungeons up to level 30. In the beta, only green items with a suffix such as “of Magic” add spell power. Crafting is the way out.

Two quest rewards

Among the quest rewards of the beta, only two mail items carry spell power, and both lean towards healing.

Item	Level	Slot	Bonus
Garrison Cuffs	18	Wrist	+2 healing, +1 damage
Silvered Gauntlets	27	Hands	+9 healing, +3 damage

Dungeons drop only Uncommon items with a random suffix that adds spell power, such as “of Magic” or “of the Knight”. That is what testers have found so far; it is no proof that nothing else exists.

Only the Paladin

From level 1 to 30 this hits one class. The Paladin is the only class with no quest or dungeon gear made for it in those levels. Every other class finds pieces for its role.

Crafting instead

A Paladin who does not want to buy upgrades at the Auction House has to craft them. The plans drop in dungeons or are sold for Merchant’s Favor by the Azeroth Commerce Authority and Durotar Supply and Logistics. Every recipe is in Blacksmithing for Forever.

The crafted gear for low levels is new in Forever. Whether Blizzard adds mail with spell power before launch is not known. The beta closes on Friday 23 October. A talent build from 1 to 60 is in the Paladin leveling guide.
