Rested experience takes about ten days to fill

A full pool of rested experience takes about ten days to build up in World of Warcraft: Forever. It holds 150% of a level and doubles the experience from kills. The Legacy talent Well Rested makes the pool bigger, but not faster.

Rested XP builds up in an inn, a capital city or another rested area, also while you are logged out. Every 8 hours adds 5% of the experience for your current level. The cap is 30 bubbles on the experience bar, or 150% of a level.

Bigger, not faster

Well Rested raises the speed by 4% per rank and the cap by 4% per rank, up to 20% at five ranks. Because both rise by the same percentage, filling up from empty still takes about ten days. The pool only holds up to a fifth more.

Three bonuses on top

Forever adds three ways to earn more experience, and all of them stack with rested XP. A Camp Tent at a camp gives rested experience for an hour, up to 5% of a level. Most cooked food gives Well Fed, with 5% more experience from kills for about 15 minutes. The Cozy Sleeping Bag gives up to 3% through Well-Rested and counts as a rested area itself.

Monsters below your level give less experience than in Classic, which Blizzard calls intended to balance those bonuses. The amount needed per level did not change: 4,084,700 to reach level 60.

The table for every level, quests, kills, dungeons and groups are in the new experience guide.
