Shaman Discord opens again after 13 hours

The Shaman Classic Discord is open again. The server locked every channel on 3 November in protest of the Shaman changes in World of Warcraft: Forever. Almost 13 hours later, at 23:28 Belgian time, players could chat again.

The server, with almost 80,000 members, closed at 10:37 Belgian time. The moderators wrote that the developers ignore the feedback of the community and destroy the fantasy of the class. They reopened the channels with a short message:

Doors are open again. You didn’t think we’d seriously close the Discord for Forever’s launch did you?

A response from Blizzard to the protest is not known. No new class changes are listed since the development notes of 2 November, in which Elemental loses Lava Burst. The new Shaman trees from those notes are in our talent calculator.

Forever opens at midnight Belgian time on 5 November.
