Yearly subscribers get a tabard, backpack and pet

Players with a recurring 12-month World of Warcraft subscription are receiving new rewards in the Gifts section of the Battle.net app. For WoW Forever, that is a tabard, a backpack and a murloc pet. Blizzard has not announced the rewards in Europe or America.

What Forever players get

The Forever rewards are the Tabard of Eternal Exploration, the Eternal Explorer’s Backpack, which is a cloak transmog, and the companion pet Azurky, a blue murloc with a banner. All three carry the same blue and gold emblem. WoW Forever itself launches on 4 November.

The Forever part of the bundle also shows a blacked-out pet in the shape of a goat. What it is and when it arrives, Blizzard does not say. 2027 is the Year of the Goat in the Chinese calendar.

Announced in China first

Unlike earlier subscription rewards, this second part of the yearly promotion was not announced in the NA or EU regions. The bundle was known because WoW China announced a similar one a few days earlier. MrGM shared the Chinese announcement on X on 12 October:

The other game versions

Retail players get two mounts, the Ashen Dreadglider and the Giant Grrloc, plus a blacked-out goat mount for later. In MoP Classic, the reward is the Cerulean Drake, with the same blacked-out goat pet as in Forever.

The Sunflare Driftmoth mount and the Sunflutter Driftmoth battle pet are not part of this batch. They were the six-month reward in July and have already been handed out.
