Zul'Farrak, Maraudon and rulesets get guides

Zul’Farrak and Maraudon now have their own guides on the site, each with loot, quests and a full route. A new guide also lays out the five rulesets, on the day Early Name Reservation opens at 18:00 Belgian time.

Zul’Farrak

The Zul’Farrak guide has the seven bosses on Blizzard’s map, the stairs event with Sergeant Bly, and how to make the Mallet that summons Gahz’rilla. Neither dungeon was open on the beta, which stopped at level 30, so the route follows Classic.

The bosses are level 45 to 48 in the Forever data, and the loot there is item level 50. Four items of the old loot list are not in that data yet, among them Ripsaw of Chief Ukorz Sandscalp. The eight quests start in Gadgetzan, Steamwheedle Port, Dustwallow Marsh, Thousand Needles, Durotar and the Blasted Lands.

Maraudon

The Maraudon guide covers the three ways in from the Valley of Spears, the Scepter of Celebras that takes you straight to Earth Song Falls, and all eight bosses up to Princess Theradras.

Maraudon stands out in the data: fourteen of its thirty-one Classic items are missing, Heart of Noxxion included. Whether Blizzard dropped them or they are simply not there yet is not known. Of the eleven quests, Twisted Evils now asks for 25 Theradric Crystal Carvings instead of 15.

The rewards of the quests in both dungeons are not in the Forever data yet. The guides add them as soon as they are known.

Rulesets

The rulesets guide puts Normal, PvP, Roleplay, Roleplay-PvP and Hardcore side by side. The choice is final; only a Hardcore character that dies can move. On PvP every character of a player is of one faction. Whether that rule also holds on Roleplay-PvP, Blizzard has not said yet.

All dungeon guides are on the dungeon overview.
