Argent Dawn reputation guide
Based on Classic Era. WoW Forever has not shown its reputations yet, so the numbers and rewards below can still change.
The Argent Dawn fights the Scourge in the Plaguelands. Every character starts at Neutral, and the reputation is open to the Alliance and the Horde alike. It matters most for players who raid: it opens resistance enchants for shoulders and the attunement to Naxxramas.
Where the Argent Dawn is
- Light’s Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands is the main base, with Quartermaster Miranda Breechlock.
- Chillwind Camp in the Western Plaguelands has Argent Quartermaster Lightspark, for the Alliance.
- The Bulwark in Tirisfal Glades has Argent Quartermaster Hasana, for the Horde.

Where the reputation comes from
Undead in the Plaguelands
Normal undead in the Plaguelands stop giving reputation early, elite undead somewhat later. Sources do not agree on the exact standing, so count on them for the first part of the road only.
Stratholme and Scholomance
The bosses of Stratholme and Scholomance give reputation all the way to Exalted. Once the open world stops counting, full runs of these dungeons are the steadiest source.
Scourgestones
With the Argent Dawn Commission equipped, undead drop Scourgestones. The Commission comes from a quest at Light’s Hope Chapel, Chillwind Camp or The Bulwark. The stones are turned in at Light’s Hope Chapel, all the way to Exalted.

Every turn-in also gives an Argent Dawn Valor Token. The tokens pay for the resistance enchants further down.
Quests
The quests of the Western and Eastern Plaguelands give Argent Dawn reputation, and the cauldron quests in the Western Plaguelands can be repeated.
The fastest way to Exalted
- Pick up the Argent Dawn Commission first and wear it everywhere in the Plaguelands.
- Do the quests of the Western and Eastern Plaguelands along the way.
- Farm undead while they still give reputation, and keep every Scourgestone.
- When the open world stops counting, run Stratholme and Scholomance for the bosses and the stones.
- Corruptor’s Scourgestones are the quickest turn-in: 1 stone gives the same reputation as 20 Minion’s Scourgestones.

Resistance enchants for shoulders
- Revered: Arcane, Flame, Frost, Nature and Shadow Mantle of the Dawn, each with 5 resistance to one school, for 10 Valor Tokens and gold.
- Exalted: Chromatic Mantle of the Dawn, with 5 resistance to all schools, for 25 Valor Tokens and gold.
Naxxramas
The attunement to Naxxramas at Light’s Hope Chapel asks at least Honored with the Argent Dawn, and it becomes cheaper at Revered and Exalted.
