Magram Clan Centaur reputation guide

WoW ForeverDesolaceNeutral to Revered

Based on Classic Era. WoW Forever has not shown its reputations yet, so the numbers and rewards below can still change.

The Magram Clan Centaur live in the east of Desolace and are the sworn enemies of the Gelkis Clan Centaur. You can raise only one of the two: every kill that counts for the Magram costs you reputation with the Gelkis. The reputation is open to Alliance and Horde, and neither clan has a quartermaster.

Where you start

Every character starts at Neutral, 2,000 into the 3,000 of that standing, so 1,000 short of Friendly. That value comes from the faction data of the Classic Era client, which the database wago.tools reads out of build 1.15.9.

The standings

Standing Reputation in the standing Needed from the start of Neutral
Neutral 3,000 0
Friendly 6,000 3,000
Honored 12,000 9,000
Revered 21,000 21,000
Exalted 1,000 42,000

You begin at 2,000 in the first row, so the first 1,000 to Friendly is all that stands between you and the quest chain.

Where the reputation comes from

Killing Gelkis centaurs

Most of the reputation comes from killing centaurs of the Gelkis clan in Desolace. Warcraft Wiki puts a kill at 20 reputation for the Magram, 22 with the Diplomacy racial, and 100 lost with the Gelkis.

The quest chain

From Friendly on, Warug, on the outskirts of Magram Village in the southeast of Desolace, opens a chain: Brutal Politics, Magram Alliance, Assault on the Kolkar, Broken Tears, Gizmo for Warug, Khan Shaka and Khan Hratha. Magram Alliance gives 100 reputation with the Magram and costs 500 with the Gelkis, says Wowhead. Warug also sends you after the Kolkar and the Maraudine, writes Warcraft Wiki.

Where it stops

Kills stop counting at 11,999 into Honored, one point below Revered, writes Warcraft Wiki. Whoever saves the quest turn-ins until that point ends just inside Revered. Exalted is out of reach.

The fastest way to the cap

  1. Kill Gelkis centaurs until Friendly. From the start that is 1,000 reputation, or fifty kills.
  2. Pick up the chain at Warug, but hold on to the turn-ins.
  3. Keep killing until the 11,999 in Honored, then turn in what you saved.

Rewards

There are no rewards per standing. At the end of the chain you choose between Magram Hunter’s Belt and Ceremonial Centaur Blanket, according to Warcraft Wiki. Which quest hands them over, the source does not say.
