Orgrimmar reputation guide
Based on Classic Era. WoW Forever has not shown its reputations yet, so the numbers and rewards below can still change.
Orgrimmar is the faction of Orgrimmar, the capital of the orcs, built by Thrall between Durotar and Azshara and named after Orgrim Doomhammer. The reputation is for the Horde only.
Where you start
Where you start depends on your race. These are the values in the faction data of the Classic Era client, which the database wago.tools reads out of build 1.15.9.

Friendly holds 6,000 reputation, so a character of the city’s own race begins 900 ahead of the rest of its side.
The Forsaken are the exception. They begin at Neutral here, a standing lower than the rest of the Horde, and it runs both ways: Orcs, Tauren and Trolls begin at Neutral with Undercity.

Where the reputation comes from
Quests
Quests for Orgrimmar give the most reputation. Wowhead points to Durotar, Orgrimmar, The Barrens, the Stonetalon Mountains, Silverpine Forest, Azshara, the Blasted Lands and Alterac Valley. Most quests for one Horde city also give a quarter of that reputation to the other Horde cities.
Cloth donations
Rashona Straglash, the Horde Cloth Quartermaster in the Drag of Orgrimmar, takes cloth. Every quest opens the next one, only for Orgrimmar; Additional Runecloth opens after the four donations.

The fastest way to Exalted
- Do the quests in the zones above; the reputation also spills over to the other Horde cities.
- Turn in the four cloth donations as soon as your level allows: 600 reputation.
- Then repeat Additional Runecloth. Revered to Exalted alone takes 420 turn-ins, or 8,400 Runecloth.
Rewards
- From Honored: a 10 percent discount at Orgrimmar vendors, on repairs, training and flights.
- At Exalted: characters of the other Horde races can buy wolves from Ogunaro Wolfrunner in the Valley of Honor in Orgrimmar.
