Shen'dralar reputation guide

WoW ForeverDire Maul, FeralasNeutral to Exalted

Based on Classic Era. WoW Forever has not shown its reputations yet, so the numbers and rewards below can still change.

The Shen’dralar are Highborne who once kept the spell tomes of Queen Azshara. They survived the War of the Ancients in Eldre’Thalas, the city now called Dire Maul. To keep his followers alive, Prince Tortheldrin bound the demon Immol’thar, and later began to sacrifice his own people. The reputation is open to Alliance and Horde. Every character starts at Neutral.

Where the Shen’dralar are

In the library of the Athenaeum in Dire Maul, Feralas. There is no quartermaster: everyone you need is in the library, including Lorekeeper Lydros and the Shen’dralar Provisioner.

You reach the Athenaeum from Dire Maul West, through the northeast exit of Immol’thar’s room, or from Dire Maul North, up a ramp near Guard Mol’dar. Both doors need the Crescent Key. Without the key, a Rogue can pick the lock (275 Lockpicking) or pickpocket the key from Guard Mol’dar, an Engineer can use a Powerful Seaforium Charge, and a Blacksmith an Arcanite Skeleton Key.

Quel’Serrar

Warriors and Paladins can earn Quel’Serrar, a one-handed tanking sword. The questline starts with Nostro’s Compendium of Dragon Slaying, a rare drop from bosses and A Dusty Tome in Dire Maul, and it also leads through Onyxia’s Lair. Every quest goes to Lorekeeper Lydros.

Librams and Arcanums

First do Elven Legends: Scholar Runethorn in Feathermoon Stronghold gives it to the Alliance, Sage Korolusk in Camp Mojache to the Horde, both in Feralas. You inspect the Skeletal Remains of Telmius Dreamseeker in the Athenaeum. After that, Lorekeeper Lydros takes librams, which drop in Dire Maul.

Enchanted Thorium Platemail

For Armorsmiths: join the two halves of each Advanced Armorsmithing volume and bring the book to Lorekeeper Lydros.

The fastest way to Exalted

  1. Turn in the book of your class as soon as you find it: 500 at once.
  2. Warriors and Paladins: do Quel’Serrar for another 1,000.
  3. Armorsmiths: the three Enchanted Thorium volumes give 600.
  4. The rest comes from librams at 200 each. Neutral to Exalted is 42,000 reputation, so it takes roughly 200 librams. Some guides mention 500 per libram; that is the amount from a later version of the game.

What the Shen’dralar offer

There is no list of rewards per standing. What you get comes from the quests above, plus Pattern: Mooncloth Robe, which the Shen’dralar Provisioner in the library sells in limited supply.
