Stormwind reputation guide
Based on Classic Era. WoW Forever has not shown its reputations yet, so the numbers and rewards below can still change.
Stormwind is the faction of Stormwind City, the capital of the humans in the northwest of Elwynn Forest. The reputation is for the Alliance only.
Where you start
Where you start depends on your race. These are the values in the faction data of the Classic Era client, which the database wago.tools reads out of build 1.15.9.

Friendly holds 6,000 reputation, so a character of the city’s own race begins 900 ahead of the rest of its side.

Where the reputation comes from
Quests
Quests for Stormwind give the most reputation. Wowhead points to Elwynn Forest, Westfall, Redridge Mountains, Duskwood, Stormwind City, the Arathi Highlands, Dustwallow Marsh, the Stonetalon Mountains and the Western Plaguelands. Most quests for one Alliance city also give a quarter of that reputation to the other Alliance cities.
Cloth donations
Clavicus Knavingham, the Alliance Cloth Quartermaster in the Mage Quarter of Stormwind City, takes cloth. Every quest opens the next one, only for Stormwind; Additional Runecloth opens after the four donations.

The fastest way to Exalted
- Do the quests in the zones above; the reputation also spills over to the other Alliance cities.
- Turn in the four cloth donations as soon as your level allows: 600 reputation.
- Then repeat Additional Runecloth. Revered to Exalted alone takes 420 turn-ins, or 8,400 Runecloth.
Rewards
- From Honored: a 10 percent discount at Stormwind vendors, on repairs, training and flights.
- At Exalted: characters of the other Alliance races can buy horses from Katie Hunter in Elwynn Forest.
