The Defilers reputation guide
Based on Classic Era. WoW Forever has not shown its reputations yet, so the numbers and rewards below can still change.
The Defilers are Forsaken who fight the League of Arathor for the resources of Arathi Basin. Their camp lies north of Hammerfall in the Arathi Highlands. The reputation is for the Horde only; the Alliance earns the League of Arathor in the same battleground. Every character starts at Neutral.
Where The Defilers are
North of Hammerfall in the Arathi Highlands, around coordinates 73, 30, with the quest givers and the quartermaster of The Defilers.
The standings
| Standing | Reputation in the standing | Needed from the start of Neutral |
|---|---|---|
| Neutral | 3,000 | 0 |
| Friendly | 6,000 | 3,000 |
| Honored | 12,000 | 9,000 |
| Revered | 21,000 | 21,000 |
| Exalted | 1,000 | 42,000 |
Where the reputation comes from
Arathi Basin
Your team earns reputation for every step of resources it gathers. The Warcraft wiki counts 16 reputation for every 260 resources, or 96 reputation for a won battle. On Arathi Basin holiday weekends the step drops to 200 resources, for 128 reputation per win.
A win also gives 3 Marks of Honor for Arathi Basin, a loss 1. The quest For Great Honor takes 3 Marks of Honor from each battleground for a larger reputation reward.
Quests
The Battle for Arathi Basin! opens at Neutral, and Take Four Bases at Friendly. Take Five Bases, at Exalted, gives the Battle Tabard of the Defilers.
The fastest way to Exalted
- Play Arathi Basin on holiday weekends: 128 reputation per win instead of 96.
- Hold as many bases as you can; more resources mean more reputation, even in a battle you lose.
- Do the quests at Hammerfall as soon as your standing opens them.
- Keep Marks of Honor from every battleground for For Great Honor.
Rewards per standing
The quartermaster of The Defilers sells:
- Friendly: Defiler’s Talisman, a trinket, plus potions, bandages and field rations.
- Honored: a belt for every armor type.
- Revered: boots for every armor type.
- Exalted: Ironbark Staff and Mindfang, shoulders for every armor type, and the Deathguard’s Cloak.
