A hotfix lets druids loot the Cat Form relics

Druids on the beta of World of Warcraft: Forever can get Cat Form again. A hotfix on the evening of 16 October fixed a bug that kept them from looting the relics they need for the class quest. Community manager Kaivax wrote on the official forums: “We sent a hotfix to the Beta a few minutes ago that fixed the bug preventing druids from looting the relics necessary to acquire Cat Form.”

The forum thread with reports started in the night of 16 October, a few hours after the new beta build went live. The hotfix came that same evening, around 20:00 Belgian time.

The quest for Cat Form

Druids get Cat Form at level 20 through a class quest that is new in Forever. You speak with Dendrite Starblaze in Moonglade, seek out the Great Cat Spirit in the south of Moonglade, recover three relics from the Stormrage Barrow Den and return to Dendrite. The bug was in that third step: the relics could not be looted.

The quest also teaches Claw, Prowl and Rip. Skyborne druids follow the same chain as The Great Windborne Cat Spirit, with the Avatar of Saeyleenan instead of the Great Cat Spirit.

If you got stuck, go back to the barrow den and try again. Everything else about leveling a druid, from the builds to the forms, is in our Druid leveling guide.
