Beta goes offline around 20.00 on 1 October

The World of Warcraft: Forever beta goes offline around 20.00 Belgian time on 1 October. Blizzard installs the new build with the level cap of 30. The beta should return early in the morning of 2 October.

Community manager Kaivax announced it on the European forums at 19.13 Belgian time, Wowhead reports:

We think we’ll take the Beta offline in about 45 minutes.

See you on the other side!

The first announcement, on the American forums, spoke of the morning in Pacific time, which falls in the afternoon in Belgium. On the European forums Kaivax then wrote that the beta goes offline in the evening and returns a few hours later. Blizzard does not give an exact end time.

What the build brings

The build raises the level cap from 20 to 30. It also opens the Excavation Site, a new dungeon in the Wetlands for levels 24 to 29, Josh Greenfield announced according to Wowhead. The notes of the build later put the dungeon at levels 26 to 31. The City of Dalaran is not in this build and follows in a later beta update.

One new battleground also becomes playable this week, Wowhead writes. Which battleground that is, is not known yet. Blizzard has not yet published the development notes of the build.
