Beta goes offline at 17.00 for internal tests

The World of Warcraft: Forever beta goes offline at 17.00 Belgian time on 14 October. Blizzard runs internal tests and expects the beta to be down for no more than a couple of hours. A new build is not mentioned.

Community manager Kaivax announced it on the American forums at 16.49 Belgian time, eleven minutes before the realms went offline:

We’re taking the WoW Forever Beta offline in a few minutes for maintenance. We’re going to run some internal tests, and we don’t expect it to be down for more than a couple of hours.

Beta realms should go offline at 8:00 a.m. PDT.

We’ll see you on the other side!

8.00 PDT is 17.00 in Belgium. An exact end time is not given; after a couple of hours the beta should be back in the evening. What the tests are for, Blizzard does not say. Whether they have to do with the stress test that the Battle.net launcher shows for 19 October, is not known either.
