Blizzard promises more on the Skyborne models
Blizzard promises more information about the models of the Skyborne. That is in a pinned comment under a new video about the race on YouTube. The Skyborne are the only race in World of Warcraft: Forever without models in standard definition.
The comment reads: “Stay tuned for more info to come regarding Skyborne models!” What that information is and when it comes, Blizzard does not say.

The other races in Forever have two versions of their model. With the High-Definition Models checkbox switched off, players see the models of the original game. The Skyborne are new and have no such version, and neither do their Druid forms. Their portraits also stay the same in both modes, as the new SD and HD portraits show.
What the video shows
The video went online on 5 October at 20.11 Belgian time and lasts 6 minutes. It tells where the Skyborne come from. They are high elves who fled Eldre’Thalas nearly 10,000 years ago and call themselves the Shen’dorei. The Spirit of the Four Winds lifted their refuge into Skywall.
Now the wind spirits have vanished. The Windshapers want to bring them back, while the High Order wants to master the magic of Skywall itself. The faction decides one class: only Alliance Skyborne become Mage, only Horde Skyborne become Shaman. Warrior, Hunter, Rogue and Druid are open to both, with new Druid forms.
The video also names a few details that the earlier overview did not have. Myriaal Mistwake teaches every Skyborne
Walk on Air with a jump from a tower. The race gets its own mount, the Galestrider, a crane. Flying ships called Skycutters bring the Skyborne from Skywall to Azeroth.
