Cooldown Manager arrives in Forever from Midnight
The Cooldown Manager from retail can now be tested in the WoW Forever beta. It came to Midnight with patch 12.0, when Blizzard limited what addons can do. Druid, Mage, Priest, Warrior and Warlock can try it now, writes Wowhead.
Why it fits Forever
Forever has the same addon restrictions as Midnight and runs on the same client as retail, writes Wowhead. That is why the manager could be carried over. It takes the key information from the buff bar and the action bar and puts it where the player wants it, according to the development notes of 24 September.
Switching it on
The manager is off by default. Blizzard puts the switch in Options under Gameplay Enhancement; Wowhead found it under Options, Advanced Options. Once it is on, Edit Mode moves the tracked spells around the screen, and /cdm opens the list of what is shown.
The settings window
The window Cooldown Settings sorts spells into Essential Cooldowns and Utility Cooldowns on its first tab. The second tab holds Tracked Buffs, Tracked Bars, Items and a list of what is Not Displayed. At the bottom sits a layout, Starter Layout by default, with a button to revert it.

What Blizzard wants to hear
Blizzard mainly asks testers which spells they want tracked by default.
The most desired feedback for this feature is currently: spells that you wish were tracked by default.
The manager does not support spell ranks yet; that follows in a later beta update. The other classes become testable in future updates, and Blizzard gives no date for that. What it cannot track yet, such as Healthstones, pet cooldowns and weapon enhancements, is in the list of known issues.
