Darkspear Islands pits 15 players against 15
World of Warcraft: Forever gets a new battleground: the Darkspear Islands, off the coast of Dustwallow Marsh. Two teams of 15 fight over four capture points and a flag in the middle. Players from level 30 to 60 can join.
The Horde fights as the Darkspear Raiders, the Alliance as the Theramore Expeditionary Force. The first team to reach 2,000 points wins, says Blizzard.

| Type | 15 against 15, capture points with a flag |
| Location | Off the coast of Dustwallow Marsh |
| Levels | 30 to 60 |
| Victory | First team to 2,000 points |
| Factions | Darkspear Raiders (Horde), Theramore Expeditionary Force (Alliance) |

Capture and hold
Teams earn points by holding the four capture points across the islands. The more of them a team holds, the faster its score rises. A flag waits in the middle of the map. A player who brings it to a base their team has captured, earns extra points.

How to get in
A battlemaster in any major capital city queues players for the battleground. In The Barrens there is a second way. The Horde has a base of the Darkspear Raiders at the Merchant Coast, the Alliance a base of the Theramore Expeditionary Force at Northwatch. From there, a portal leads into the battle. In the Underbelly of Dalaran, Bimble Sparkfingers is the battlemaster for the islands.
The two bases in The Barrens also have vendors with reputation rewards, and quests for the battleground.
Two reputations

Each side has its own reputation: the Darkspear Raiders or the Theramore Expeditionary Force. At higher standing, the vendors sell gear and consumables: trinkets, rings, cloaks, weapons and armor.
Players turn in Marks of Honor in reputation quests. At Exalted, a short questline unlocks the faction’s own tabard. Which items the vendors sell, and at which standing, Blizzard does not say.
