Druid forms carry the torch in their mouth

Druids on the WoW Forever beta can now use the Night Watchman’s Torch in their animal forms. The form simply holds the torch in its mouth. Until the latest beta update, the torch did not work while shapeshifted, and players asked for this change.

The torch comes from a dead guard in Duskwood who only appears at night. It lights up dark zones for 5 minutes, and the new lighting of Forever makes some of them truly black.

A player posted the idea on Reddit around 3 October, and it went viral. On 9 October the same player shared that Blizzard had made it happen. The post drew more than 9,600 upvotes in a day.

Players showed the torch in Cat Form and Travel Form. It works for Skyborne Druids as well as Night Elf and Tauren Druids, players on the beta report.
