Erland respawns faster in the first hotfixes

Blizzard has released the first hotfixes for World of Warcraft: Forever. Deathstalker Erland now respawns much faster for his escort quest, and Plainsrunning no longer stacks in battlegrounds. A Druid trainer on Zephras works again, and Mild Spices sell for less.

The hotfixes are dated 5 November and appeared that night on the forums of Blizzard, a day after the launch. Blizzard adds new fixes to the same list.

Enemies and NPCs

  • Durotar: Yarrog Baneshadow respawned more slowly than intended. Fixed.
  • Zephras: Lotheluum Starbreeze trains Druids again.
  • Dustwallow Marsh: some murlocs respawned too quickly. Fixed.
  • Swamp of Sorrows: Pelluk sometimes did not spawn. Fixed.

Items

  • The trade supply vendors on Zephras Isle sell the apprentice tradeskill bags again.
  • Mild Spices sell to a vendor for 1 copper each, down from 2 copper.

Player versus Player

Plainsrunning could be stacked during the preparation phase of a battleground. That is fixed, and the buff no longer stacks at all. Carrying a flag cancels the stacks.

Quests

Other escort quests still fail when the NPC crosses a zone border. Blizzard is investigating that, see our post about the escorts.
