Every pet and mount now has its own guide

WoW Forever now has a guide for every pet and every mount in the files of the beta. That is 90 pets and 130 mounts, each with a page of its own: where it comes from, the price and what it needs.

Both guides are in all six languages of the site: the pet guide and the mount guide.

What a page shows

A mount page lists the vendor or the monster that drops it, the price, the level, the riding skill and the speed. The name of a vendor or monster is a link with its own tooltip. A pet page shows the item, the source and what changed since Classic.

New in WoW Forever

38 mounts and 32 pets are new. Among them are the Galestriders of the Skyborne, which need the new Galestrider Riding. Genn Fairweather on Zephras Isle sells the regular ones for 20 gold and the swift ones for 200 gold. The Pack Kodo costs 6000 Merchant’s Favor and needs Exalted with two factions.

What is not known yet

For 53 mounts the files hold the mount, but the beta does not show yet where it comes from. Rivendare’s Deathcharger is one of them, because the beta stops at level 30. The art of 14 mounts is still encrypted in the files, among them the Swift Hyjal Stag and the Warden Sabers. Those pages get updated as soon as the beta or the launch shows more.
