Fishing tournament stops after only one winner
The fishing tournament in Stranglethorn Vale is bugged on the live servers of World of Warcraft: Forever. Only the first player who handed in 40 Speckled Tastyfish got the Master Angler title. After that, no more Tastyfish schools appeared.
50 winners on paper
In Forever, the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza has 50 winners instead of one. The first 50 players who bring 40
Speckled Tastyfish to Riggle Bassbait in Booty Bay complete Master Angler. Each of them gets the
Arcanite Fishing Pole and an
Extravagant Extravaganza Coin.
Jang trades that coin for one prize, such as the Bitter Baitling pet. All prizes are in the Fishing guide.
No more fish in the water
This time the tournament stopped after the first winner. The schools of Tastyfish along the coast no longer spawn, so the other anglers cannot reach 40 fish. The fish they already caught disappear from their bags after 4 hours.
Blizzard has not said anything about it yet. Whether the other 49 places are handed out later, and when the bug is fixed, is not known.
