Horde earns the Dalaran Sewer Key in Tarren Mill

Horde players have to work for their way into the City of Dalaran. A chain of quests from Tarren Mill ends with the Dalaran Sewer Key, the key to the dungeon. The Alliance only needs to speak to Image of Archmage Modera outside the city.

With the level cap of the beta at 30, the dungeon is now within reach. Blizzard gives it a range of 28 to 33. Where the Horde got its key was still unknown in the first post about Dalaran.

Content creator Farmerfarms shows the whole chain in a video.

The quests, in order

Both quest givers stand in Tarren Mill. First, take three quests.

Quest	From	Task
Prison Break In	Magus Wordeen Voidglare	Find the traitors and recover their artifacts
Key to the City	Magus Wordeen Voidglare	Get the Grimy Key
Stone Tokens	Keeper Bel’varil	Bring 10 Worn Stone Tokens

Hand them in, then take the next two.

Quest	From	Task
Dalaran Patrols	Magus Wordeen Voidglare	Kill 6 Dalaran Summoners and 12 Elemental Slaves
Bracers of Binding	Keeper Bel’varil	Bring 4 Bracers of Earth Binding

Hand those in too, and the chain moves to the city.

Quest	From	Task
Blood in the Streets	Magus Wordeen Voidglare	Hand it in to Image of Archmage Modera outside Dalaran
Heart of Disruption	Image of Archmage Modera	Collect the Arcane Mote inside the City of Dalaran

Heart of Disruption gives the Dalaran Sewer Key. The chain ends with that quest in the log and the key on the keyring, ready for the dungeon.

Old and new quests

Four of the quests come from Classic: Prison Break In, Stone Tokens, Dalaran Patrols and Bracers of Binding were Horde quests in Hillsbrad Foothills and Alterac Mountains. Key to the City, Blood in the Streets and Heart of Disruption are new in Forever.

The Horde enters the dungeon through a tunnel outside the city, at /way 8.8 59.6. The bosses and tactics are in the dungeon guide.
