Library quest for 25 books opens at level 30
A third reward for library books opens at level 30 on the beta of World of Warcraft: Forever. For 25 books, players choose a bow, a shield or an off-hand of item level 45. Only the bow can be worn right away.
Books lie scattered across Azeroth and can be handed in to the librarian of each faction, whatever the player’s class. The rewards come in three steps, and the quest for 25 books asks for level 30.
The quests for 20 and 25 books carry the same name. The earlier rewards changed more than once on the beta: the necklaces for 10 books dropped to green quality, and the ring for 20 books lost its class restriction.
The three new items
All three are blue, bind when picked up and have item level 45.
| Item | Type | Stats | Requires |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bow, 23.75 damage per second | 7 Agility, 3 Stamina | No level | |
| Shield, 1580 armor | 12 Spirit, up to 11 healing and 4 spell damage | Level 40 | |
| Off-hand | 12 Stamina, up to 7 Fire spell damage | Level 40 |
The bow carries no level requirement in its tooltip, while the shield and the off-hand ask for level 40. Whether the bow should be locked to level 40 as well is not known. For now, a Hunter at level 30 can use it straight away.
