Six bosses wait in any order in the Ruins of Lordaeron
The Ruins of Lordaeron is the dungeon above the Undercity in World of Warcraft: Forever, for levels 15 to 20. Wowhead has published a walkthrough. The six bosses can be done in any order. The Horde finds six quests there, the Alliance four.
The walkthrough comes from Jurdi, who also wrote the one for the Hall of Thanes. He ran the dungeon on the beta and calls it non-linear, with secrets that are easy to miss. The final boss is level 20, writes Wowhead, without saying which of the six that is.
Where it is
The entrance lies in the open ruins of Lordaeron, the city above the Undercity, immediately to the left after the gate, writes Wowhead. The Spirit Healer stands just outside, so a wipe costs little time.

For the Horde it is a short walk from Brill. The Alliance has a long trip: the boat from Stormwind Harbor to Auberdine, then the boat to Menethil Harbor and on to Southshore, and from there north past Dalaran and through Silverpine Forest, according to the dungeon guide of Wowhead. Skyborne players on the Alliance side can skip most of it through a portal from the Mage Tower in Stormwind to Dalaran.
Six quests for the Horde, four for the Alliance
Four Horde quests start outside the dungeon. The
Wrath of Rath’mael comes from Deathguard Kristof at the caravan between Brill and the Undercity. A Frightened Request comes from Tabitha Heartweaver at The Sepulcher in Silverpine Forest. The New Plague starts in the Apothecarium and Light’s Justice in the Royal Quarter of the Undercity.
Two more start inside. The Baron drops the
Abominable Head, which begins Unending Torment, a chain of five steps in the Undercity. A
Crest of Lordaeron lies somewhere in the dungeon, on one of several spots, and starts a quest of the same name for both factions.
The Alliance finds everything inside. Captain Truman, friendly to the Alliance and hostile to the Horde, waits near the entrance with Abominable Creatures. Undead drop Bloodied Insignias, a
Blood-Stained Letter near Rath’mael starts Remember That I Love You, and the Crest goes to Stormwind.

Each quest gives up to 9,750 experience. In the game they show up red even at level 17, because the quests are level 21 and 22, but the dungeon can be cleared at 17, says Wowhead.
| Reward | Type | Quest |
|---|---|---|
| The Stitcher | One-handed mace, Horde | Light’s Justice |
| Gnarled Necromancer’s Staff | Staff | The |
| Slain Baron’s Signet | Ring | Abominable Creatures |

Every quest with its quest giver, coordinates and all the rewards is in the Ruins of Lordaeron guide.
Six bosses in any order
Witherfang is a spider that patrols King’s Alley with two smaller spiders. Clear the trash along its path first, so it comes alone. Its
Leech Poison can be cleansed from the tank.
The Baron is an abomination whose Knockout hits hard and can kill the tank quickly. Keep the tank at full health and stun him as often as possible, writes Wowhead.
Viktor the Vile is easy to miss. A group has to light the Kindled Flame in a chimney of a building near the graveyard and beat five waves of adds first. He hits hard, so the tank needs aggro before the rest joins in. On the beta he sometimes does not spawn.
The Abandoned comes out after three waves of adds in Market Street. He casts
Frost Nova and chills whoever hits him in melee, but his
Life Drain on the tank matters most. A stun before the cast ends stops it.

Bjork only casts a short
Anti-Magic Shield. Wowhead calls him an easy boss.
Rath’mael puts a Flamestrike on the ground where the tank stood. Step out of it and fight on at a new spot.
Dense trash
The trash hits less hard than in the Hall of Thanes, writes Wowhead, but the packs stand close together. Pulling two at once is easy, and groups without crowd control have a hard time, especially at a low level. Paladins do well from level 20, when they learn Exorcism, which hits undead.
What is not certain
Blizzard gives the dungeon a range of 15 to 20. Wowhead puts it at 16 to 23 in the news article and at 16 to 22 in its dungeon guide. Viktor the Vile does not always spawn on the beta. Whether that is fixed before the launch on 4 November is not known.
Dungeons in Forever give less experience from monsters on a repeat run, so a group that misses Viktor or the Crest has less reason to come back, writes Wowhead.
