Snow and sandstorms block your view in Azeroth

Snow in World of Warcraft: Forever can now almost take away your view. Blizzard showed light snow and a heavy, fog-like storm in Dun Morogh in a video on X. Testers also filmed a sandstorm in Tanaris during the beta.

Dun Morogh always had some snow, near the gates of Ironforge and across the zone. The video adds a light, speckled snowfall and a storm that hides much of the landscape. “More varied snowy weather is coming to WoW: Forever”, Blizzard writes.

A sandstorm in Tanaris

Snow is not the only new weather. A video from the beta on Reddit shows Tanaris under a thick cloud of sand.

Earlier in the beta, heavy rain, lightning and snowstorms in the Alterac Mountains appeared. How often these storms occur, and whether they affect anything other than your view, Blizzard does not say.
