WeakAuras makes way for a Cooldown Manager
WeakAuras does not work in World of Warcraft: Forever. The game uses the addon restrictions that Midnight brought to the modern game, which limit what addons see and do in combat. Built-in tools take over part of the job, starting with a Cooldown Manager.
The Cooldown Manager
The Cooldown Manager reads your buffs and action bars and shows the spells you pick in a frame of its own, trinkets and potions included. It is off by default: turn it on under Options, Advanced Options, place it with Edit Mode and type /cdm to choose the spells.

It is not a full replacement. Custom triggers, advanced combat tracking and help with a rotation are not possible under the new rules.
More in the game itself
The same Advanced Options hold a Damage Meter, with a dropdown for what it shows and extra windows behind the gear icon. A Swing Timer shows when the next auto attack lands.

Edit Mode, from the Escape menu, places all of it, along with frames such as the cast bar, the totem bar and Loss of Control. Click Casting binds spells to clicks on unit frames, with a Mouseover Cast box, which helps healers most.

Addons are still allowed
Forever does not ban addons. Addons for the interface, bags and action bars still work, as long as they are made for Forever. Older Classic addons are not guaranteed to run. The steps for every tool are in our guide to the built-in UI tools.
