Frostwolf Clan reputation guide
Based on Classic Era. WoW Forever has not shown its reputations yet, so the numbers and rewards below can still change.
The Frostwolf Clan is an orc clan that made the Alterac Mountains its home after Gul’dan exiled it. When Thrall set sail for Kalimdor, the Frostwolves stayed behind under Drek’Thar. Now they are at war with the dwarves of the Stormpike Guard, who want Alterac Valley for the Alliance. The reputation is for the Horde only; the Alliance earns the Stormpike Guard in the same battleground. Every character starts at Neutral.
Where the Frostwolf Clan is
At The Uplands in the east of the Alterac Mountains. The base has an entrance to Alterac Valley, the quest givers and the quartermaster Jekyll Flandring. There is no flight path; the closest one is Tarren Mill in Hillsbrad Foothills. Inside Alterac Valley, Grunnda Wolfheart in Frostwolf Keep sells the same items.

The flesh goes to the Horde air masters Guse, Jeztor and Mulverick once you have freed them.

A win gives 3 Alterac Valley Marks of Honor, a loss 1. For Great Honor asks for 3 Marks of Honor from Alterac Valley, Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch, and also gives reputation with the Warsong Outriders and The Defilers. The follow-up to The Battle for Alterac, Hero of the Frostwolf, gives a choice of rare weapons.
The Frostwolf Insignia
The insignia is a trinket that takes you back to Frostwolf Keep inside Alterac Valley. Every quest upgrades it, up to an epic trinket.

Some sources of reputation stop at Exalted, so the last points for rank 6 take a little extra work.
The fastest way to Exalted
- Do the one-time quests first: together they give 500 reputation.
- Help kill Vanndar Stormpike and Captain Balinda Stonehearth, and keep Captain Galvangar alive; those are the biggest amounts per battle.
- Turn in Marks of Honor in threes, and keep marks from all three battlegrounds for For Great Honor.
- Do each Frostwolf Insignia quest as soon as your standing opens it.
- Neutral to Exalted is 42,000 reputation.
