Herbalism in Cata Classic runs from 450 to 525 on the herbs of the Cataclysm zones. Each herb needs a minimum skill, shown in brackets below. You can stay in Mount Hyjal until 500 if Deepholm is busy.

Trainers and tips

  • Illustrious Grand Master Herbalism is taught by the herbalism trainers in the capital cities, such as Stormwind City and Orgrimmar, from character level 75.
  • Gathering herbs also gives Volatile Life, which alchemists and scribes buy.
  • Herbalism also gives Lifeblood, an instant heal over time that you can use every few minutes. Druids can gather straight from Flight Form.
