Flight paths: every flight master in WoW Forever

Flight masters carry players between the towns of Azeroth for a handful of silver. WoW Forever keeps every flight route of Classic and adds five flight points, in The Riverglades and on Mount Hyjal. This guide lists every flight point with its flight master, the coordinates and where it flies to.

The flight points and routes come from the files of the beta, build 1.60.1.70245. They have not changed since late September. A town with a flight master for each faction, such as Everlook, counts once per faction.

On the map, a blue line is an Alliance route and a red line a Horde route. A dashed line is a boat or a zeppelin, white when both factions can use it. A gold border and the word NEW mark a new route. A shield is a flight master, a round mark a dock or zeppelin tower.

The Riverglades is the new zone for levels 30 to 45. Both factions get a flight point there that ties it to the zones around it. The Alliance flies on to Redridge Mountains, Loch Modan and Burning Steppes, the Horde to Swamp of Sorrows, Arathi Highlands, Badlands and Burning Steppes. Powderfuse Port, home of the Black Market Auction House, is a short hop from Farholde Keep.

Mount Hyjal is the finale of leveling, with a camp where Horde and Alliance sit together. Both flight points on the mountain serve both factions, and Tainted Foothills links to Everlook in Winterspring for each side.

Kargath has the most routes of the Horde in the Eastern Kingdoms, eight. Rog’mar links four of the Horde towns around The Riverglades: Stonard, Kargath, Flame Crest and Hammerfall.

Nighthaven in Moonglade is only for Druids. They fly there from Rut’theran Village for the Alliance and from Thunder Bluff for the Horde. Ratchet, Gadgetzan, Marshal’s Refuge, Everlook, Cenarion Hold and Moonglade have a flight master for each faction, or one who serves both.

Six of these routes are new. Stormwind Harbor gets a boat to Auberdine, and a boat from Menethil Harbor calls at Southshore on its way to Auberdine. A boat links Powderfuse Port in The Riverglades with Steamwheedle Port. Two new zeppelins fly to Valanaar on Zephras Isle, the home of the Skyborne: one from Dalaran for both factions, one from Skywatcher Plateau for the Horde. Tips

• Learn every flight point you pass. A flight master only flies to places you have visited, so speak to each one on the way.
• Frequent Flier is a Legacy perk in the Adventure category. It gives a 50% discount on every flight path and makes the flight 20% faster. More about Legacy in the talent calculator.
• Crossroads is the busiest flight point of the game, with thirteen Horde routes. For the Alliance, Ironforge and Auberdine have nine each.

What is not certain

• Powderfuse Port has one route, to Farholde Keep. The flight point carries no faction in the files, but its only route leads to an Alliance keep and its mount is a gryphon. No flight master is known there yet.
• A sixth new flight point waits: Tidegear Coast in Dun Morogh stands in the files without a single route. What it is for is not known.
• The routes can still change before the launch on 4 November.
• Zephras Isle has no fixed place on the world map in the files. The map puts Valanaar on the group of islands north of the Maelstrom.
• How long a flight takes is not in the files. The map shows where a route runs, not how long it lasts.
