Library books in WoW Forever: every location and reward

Books lie scattered across Azeroth in World of Warcraft: Forever. Hand them in at the library of your faction, whatever your class, and you unlock three quests with rewards. This guide lists all 36 books with their /way coordinates.

The two necklaces dropped to green quality on the beta, and Field Researcher’s Loop fits every class. The quest for 25 books opens at level 30, but all three of its rewards need level 40 to wear.

Where to hand them in

The Alliance goes to the Mage Tower in the Mage Quarter of Stormwind, the Horde to the Magic Quarter of Undercity. The two quests for 20 and 25 books carry the same name, Greater Friend of the Library.

Careful: a book you delete cannot be looted again, as things stand on the beta.

Rumi of Gnomeregan lies in the inns of both Westfall and Loch Modan, but counts once. Alliance players: the NPCs at Ambermill in Silverpine Forest are neutral to you.

Secrets of the Dreamers lies in the cave with the entrance of Wailing Caverns. Use the second /way once the text The Wailing Caverns appears on screen.

Several books lie near or inside high level areas. Stonewrought Design and Magma or Lava? are both inside Blackrock Mountain.

Tricky books

• Defensive Magics 101: a level 40 ogre guards the room. Stand in the corner behind the box while he walks to the stairs.
• A Web of Lies: stand inside the tent right behind the scrolls, look down on them and loot through the tent without pulling the trolls.
• Venomous Journeys: stand on the pyramid above, pull the mob, jump down on the wall next to the book and loot it through the wall.
• The Knight and the Lady: after a resurrection, wait until the bats are far away; there is time to loot before they return.
