A Statistics pane counts kills, gold and deaths
The Statistics pane works in the WoW Forever beta. It stayed empty in the first build, and the current one fills it with around two hundred numbers per character. They run from total kills and gold spent to deaths from Hogger.
Where to find it
The pane sits in the character window. Open it with C, the default key, and click the bottom tab on the right. The numbers are grouped in categories that fold open and closed.
What it counts
A selection from the full list:
- Combat: the largest hit dealt and received, the largest heal, total damage and total healing.
- Wealth: gold from quests, vendors and auctions, gold spent on respecs, travel, postage and the barber shop, and the most gold ever owned.
- Consumables: food, drinks, potions, elixirs, flasks, bandages and Healthstones.
- Travel: flight paths, Mage Portals, summons accepted and how often a character hearthed.
- Deaths: from falling, drowning, fatigue, fire and lava, and from Hogger.
- Social: hugs, cheers, waves, facepalms and the world’s smallest violin.
- Professions: recipes learned and the highest skill per profession.
PvP has its own blocks, with honorable kills, killing blows and results per battleground. Next to Alterac Valley, Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch, the Darkspear Islands appear there, the new battleground of Forever. Deaths are counted separately for raids of 10, 20 and 40 players, the three sizes that open on 9 December.
Bosses from the new dungeons
The category Boss Kills shows a boss only after the character has defeated it at least once. The list holds the classic dungeons, from Edwin VanCleef in the Deadmines to Baron Rivendare in Stratholme. It also names bosses from content that is new in Forever:
- The Hall of Thanes: Durgen Dirgehammer
- Ruins of Lordaeron: Rath’mael
- City of Dalaran: Lyn the Ignored and Shade of the Archmage
- Alcaz Prison: Blazeroar
- Shaper’s Terrace: Bolt, Cinder, Nanaya and Snowtalon
- Barrow Deeps: Sonya Darkhallow
- Hyjal Summit: The Wild King
Durgen Dirgehammer is the final boss of the Hall of Thanes, as the walkthrough shows. Rath’mael is one of six bosses in the Ruins of Lordaeron, which can be done in any order, according to the walkthrough. For the other names the list does not say whether they are the last boss. Excavation Site: Wetlands, The Drowned City, Krol’dok Stronghold and Blackmaw Hold do not appear in it.
A few lines point to later expansions, such as Inscription, the Dalaran Cooking Awards and daily quests for cooking and fishing. Whether they mean anything in Forever, is not known.
