Four hours of Twitch earn a purple campfire toy

Watch four hours of World of Warcraft on Twitch during launch week and you get the Pouch of Violet Dust. The toy turns a campfire purple and makes every camp buff last two hours instead of one, for everyone resting at that camp.

What the toy does

• Your campfire turns purple and all camp benefits last 1 hour longer, 2 hours in total.
• The extension is shared: everyone resting at the camp gets the same longer duration.
• The toy exists only in WoW Forever, not in Classic or the modern game.
• It works during the WoW: Forever Launch Celebration only. In early December it is removed from your collection.

How to get it

Start	5 November, 01.30 Belgian time (4 November, 16.30 PST)
End	13 November, 01.30 Belgian time (12 November, 16.30 PST)
Watch	4 hours of any eligible stream in the World of Warcraft category on Twitch
Delivery	in game within 24 hours after you claim it

You can switch channels without losing progress, but watching two streams at once does not go faster. Claim the drop on the channel or in the Drops Inventory on Twitch.

Before you start, link Twitch to your Battle.net account under Connections. On YouTube the drop comes through the Connected Apps page, but there it only counts on the official World of Warcraft channel, and you watch that channel the whole time. Drops work in a browser and in the Twitch and YouTube apps for iOS and Android, not in apps on consoles or smart TVs.

Things to watch out for

• The reward lands in the Battle.net region you log into first after claiming.
• If you changed your password or your Twitch account, you have to link it again. After a new link, you wait 7 days before you can link another Twitch account.
• A claimed drop expires after 7 days if no Battle.net account is linked.
• On Twitch, Korea is not one of the regions. On YouTube it is.

How a campsite works and which buff every object gives is in the camping guide. Camp buffs still do not stack with class buffs, see our post about camp buffs.
