Student Fodder no longer gives rested experience

Student Fodder no longer gives rested experience in World of Warcraft: Forever. In Season of Discovery the trail mix granted four bars of it, writes Wowhead. In Forever it heals, restores some of your resource and speeds you up.

Student Fodder is a reward from the quest chain for the Cozy Sleeping Bag, which returns from Season of Discovery. The chain pays out five of them. The guide to the Cozy Sleeping Bag walks through it step by step.

Eating Student Fodder still heals at once and restores part of the resource bar of your class. On top of that it now applies Trail Snack, which gives 60% more movement speed for a moment, writes Wowhead. Trail Snack also heals 175 health per tick over time.

Why the rested experience is gone, Blizzard does not say. Wowhead suspects that Forever already has enough ways to level faster. A campfire gives one bar of rested experience every hour, almost every new food gives 5% bonus experience, and the Cozy Sleeping Bag up to 3% for an hour. Legacy talents also make levelling alts easier.
