The beta stays open until 23 October

The beta of World of Warcraft: Forever gets two extra days. Blizzard now closes it on Friday 23 October at 10:00 Pacific time, which is 19:00 Belgian time. Until now, 21 October was the last full day. The launch stays on 4 November.

Community manager Kaivax announced the new date on the official forums, with a small pun: “We plan to close the WoW Forever Beta … forever at 10:00 a.m. PDT on Friday, October 23.”

First the stress test, then the beta again

Tonight, 21 October, Blizzard takes the beta offline for the stress test on the regional hardware that Forever will run on after launch. In Europe it runs from 19:00 to 03:00 Belgian time, and every player with a World of Warcraft account can join. When it ends, all stress test characters are deleted, names included, and the beta opens again.

Two more days at level 30

Testers keep playing with the level cap of 30 until Friday evening. Blizzard has not said whether a new beta build comes in those two days.
