The data drops the dismount from Spearing Strike
Spearing Strike no longer dismounts its target, according to the files of the new World of Warcraft: Forever beta build. Every spell was compared with the previous build. Most changes match the class notes of 1 October, but a few are missing from them.
Blizzard has not confirmed the changes below that are not in its notes. Datamined tooltips can also change again before they reach the game.
Changes that are not in the notes
- Spearing Strike, the Arms talent: the line “Mounted targets are dismounted” is gone. The extra 80% weapon damage against Giants, Dragonkin and mounted targets stays. The notes do say that the talent no longer needs a two-handed weapon and now needs
Battle Stance.
Bloodrage: the line that the Warrior counts as in combat for its duration is gone.- Feral:
Natural Instinct and
Shredding Attacks move to another spot in the tree. That makes room for
Shifting Power in row 4 and
Improved Shifting Power in row 5. Shredding Attacks also lowers the Rage cost of
Lacerate by 1 to 3.
Moonkin Form: the tooltip is rewritten. The values stay: 100% more chance for
Omen of Clarity, 360% more armor from items and 3% critical strike chance for the party.
Raging Blows: in the data it lowers the Rage cost of Cleave by 2. Later that night Blizzard changed the talent again in a separate post about Warriors.
What the data confirms
The numbers from the notes are in the files too.
Holy Shield raises block chance by 30%, up from 20%.
Redoubt goes to 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20%.
Champion of the Light gives spell damage worth 20, 40 or 60% of Intellect and no healing.
For Hunters,
Sniper Shot gets a range of 45 yards and adds 10 yards to the next three shots.
Deflection drops to 1 to 5% Parry. For Mages,
Heating Up is the new name of
Hot Streak, and
Combustion ends after 3 critical strikes instead of 4.
Dual Wield Specialization no longer adds Rage from the off-hand, and
Soul Harvest is the new name of Soul Harvesting. The talent calculator already follows this build.
