Jewelcrafting leveling guide
Jewelcrafting in Cata Classic runs from 450 to 525 on gems from prospecting Obsidium and Elementium Ore, which makes Mining the natural partner. The meta gem cuts are bought with tokens, so start the daily quest as soon as you can. Counts are approximate: a recipe can turn green a few points earlier or later.

Trainers and tips
- Illustrious Grand Master Jewelcrafting is taught by the jewelcrafting trainers in the capital cities, such as Stormwind City and Orgrimmar, from character level 75.
- The daily jewelcrafting quest comes from Isabel Jones in Stormwind City for the Alliance and Marith Lazuria in Orgrimmar for the Horde. It rewards an Illustrious Jewelcrafter’s Token, and the same NPCs sell the meta gem designs for those tokens.
- Fire Prism can be made once every 20 hours, so start it around 520 and use it every day until 525.
