Enchanting leveling guide
Enchanting in Classic Era runs from 1 to 300 on dust, essences and shards from disenchanting green and blue items. Tailoring is a good partner, because it makes cheap items to disenchant. The route below uses trainer formulas plus a few from vendors. Counts are approximate: a recipe can turn green a few points earlier or later.

Each Runed Rod also needs the plain rod from a blacksmith and a few essences, pearls or shards, as shown in the route. Simple Wood and Crystal Vial come from the trade supplies vendor.

Trainers and tips
- Apprentice and Journeyman training is available in the capitals. Expert training is outside the cities: Kitta Firewind in the Tower of Azora in Elwynn Forest for the Alliance, and Hgarth at Sun Rock Retreat in Stonetalon Mountains for the Horde. Artisan training is only from Annora, deep inside Uldaman.
- Enchant Cloak - Minor Agility and Enchant Bracer - Lesser Strength are sold by Dalria in Ashenvale and Kulwia in Stonetalon Mountains. Lesser Mana Oil comes from Kania in Silithus, and Enchant Shield - Greater Stamina from Mythrin’dir in Darnassus and Daniel Bartlett in Undercity.
- Lorelae Wintersong in Moonglade sells the formulas for Runed Arcanite Rod and Enchant Cloak - Superior Defense.
- Disenchanting gives no skill, but it is the only source of materials, so disenchant every green item you do not need.
