MoP ClassicSkill 525-600Gathering

Mining in MoP Classic runs from 525 to 600 on the veins of Pandaria. Nodes here have no skill requirement, and Ghost Iron gives skill all the way to 600. Valley of the Four Winds has the most nodes, and Townlong Steppes is quieter when it gets busy.

Trainers and tips

  • Zen Master Mining is taught by Rockseeker Guo at Paw’don Village for the Alliance, Stonebreaker Ruian at Honeydew Village for the Horde, and Smeltmaster Ashpaw below Tian Monastery for both, all in The Jade Forest.
  • Smelting Ghost Iron Bar also gives skill. Trillium Bar is smelted from White Trillium Ore and Black Trillium Ore.
  • Below 300 skill Pandaria nodes only give Ghost Iron Nuggets, but at this point you always get full ore.
