China gets two launch packs with bags and a faster tent

World of Warcraft: Forever launches in China with two paid packs. Both give a head start in the first levels: bags, repair bots, potions and game time. The bigger one adds a tent that fills rested experience four times as fast as a normal tent. Blizzard has not announced the packs for Europe or America.

The two packs

Launch Supply Pack Launch Collector’s Annual Pass
Price About 19 dollars About 133 dollars
Game time 30 days 365 days
Bags Four with 10 slots, two with 12 slots The same
Portable repair bots 30 30
Supplies A satchel with health and mana potions and food The same
Extra Veteran Adventurer’s Expedition Tent, a Fisher Attire transmog set and the pet Gill’el

The prices are conversions to dollars. The yearly pass holds everything from the smaller pack except its 30 days of game time.

Elspeth shared the packs on X on 2 November:

A tent with four times the rested experience

The Veteran Adventurer’s Expedition Tent is the part that matters most. A normal tent already makes rested experience build up faster, so this one gives a real lead while you level. How camping and tents work in Forever, is in our camping guide.

Gill’el and a Stillwater Fisher Attire set were already in the files of the beta. Blizzard said then that those datamined items are not meant for Forever.

Not in the West, for now

Many players outside China hope it stays that way. The shop in China leans more on limited packs and paid convenience than the shop in Europe and America. Blizzard has not said whether the packs come to other regions.

WoW Forever launches on 5 November at 00:00 Belgian time.
