Restoration Druids heal with an 11/7/33 build
Most Restoration Druids in WoW Forever will play an 11/7/33 build. The 33 points in Restoration buy
Gift of the Earthmother, Improved
Regrowth and
Wild Growth. The new Restoration Druid guide explains the build, the changes, macros and the most asked questions.
The spec stays a healer who works ahead of the damage, with HoTs on many players at once. A few changes give it more ways to react as well.
What changes
Omen of Clarity is now baseline and can proc on spell casts, about twice per minute, which makes the next spell free. Wild Growth heals the whole party of the target.
Swiftmend no longer consumes the HoT it uses, and HoTs can now crit.
HoTs of several Druids stack on one target, although a bug still prevents that in some cases. Swiftmend then always uses the HoT with the most healing power, no matter which Druid cast it. Regrowth heals a lot more than before, and
Feral Swiftness and Entangling Roots now work indoors.
The build
Gift of the Earthmother is the milestone talent at 11 points. It lowers the global cooldown of
Rejuvenation, Wild Growth and Swiftmend by 0.5 seconds, so a Druid can cover a raid with HoTs much faster. Improved Regrowth is one of the talents with the most value per point. Tranquil Spirit and Improved
Tranquility lose out.
The 11 points in Balance mainly serve
Nature’s Splendor, which makes Moonfire, Rejuvenation and Regrowth last longer. The 7 points in Feral Combat go to Heart of the Wild and Feral Swiftness. The whole build is in the talent calculator.

Strong and weak
The Restoration Druid is very strong in raid healing, has the best mobility of any healer and brings raid debuffs. It has no shields, no external damage reduction and no Magic or Disease dispel. Mana still needs active management, and raid healing takes time to ramp up.
Race, stat priority and the BiS list are not known yet. That information follows after the launch on 4 November.
